White Water Kayaking On Dartmoor
We were lucky to win this family adventure day as Dartmoor Adventures had generously donated to a charity ball raising money for teenage cancer.
We were all novice kayakers with a teeny bit of experience.
Chris was efficient and very knowledgeable.
The activity was challenging and exciting too.
We felt very safe and enjoyed our day.
Highly recommend this company - you will be in good hands.

Had an awesome 2 days kayaking with Chris. Never felt worried or unsafe whilst still being pushed and encouraged maximising the trip!
Dartmoor Activities
We spent 2 afternoons in Dartmoor with Chris. We participated in white water Kayaking, scrambling and climbing. Both of which were brilliant fun. Chris was knowledgeable about the area and the activities. We felt safe under his instruction and would definitely recommend this company to others.
Top notch stuff
Top notch stuff. Group of 9 had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Lots of rapids and fell in loads but luckily the river Dart tastes great.
White Water SUP tuition
I have just finished 2 days of SUP tuition in white water grade 2 and 3 with Chris. it was fantastic, i learnt loads, he was very patient and clear in his instruction,
it was loads of fun , and we pushed ourselves as far as we wanted to , without any pressure.
Fantastic day out
Great fun for the whole family, especially on a warm summers day, the kids loved it!

Fantastic kayaking, would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys white water thrills, I'm a complete beginner and Chris being a natural teacher taught me some tips and tricks so I could really make the most out of the experience.

Whitewater Rafting with Dartmoor Adventures
Guides (Chris & Tom) were very good coaches on our white water kayaking experience. They catered difficulty to our group very well, always pushing us a bit further which was great. Also a perfect balance of organisation and casual approach!

Excellent weekend of white water kayaking, climbing and abseiling with Chris at Dartmoor Adventures. Well organised and safe but with some fun challenges - and he is good at dealing with the unexpected!
My husband and I were gifted a beginners white water kayaking experience and were a little apprehensive at first as we weren't that experienced. We found the day amazing however and the guidance received was excellent. Our instructor took us onto a calm section and assessed our skill level. He tailored the day around our ability and energy and pushed us just the right amount. The Dart was truly beautiful with the perfect degree of challenge on the water. Thanks Dartmoor Adventures, we'll definitely be coming back!
My two sons and my husband went for a two day bespoke kayaking on river Dart. Incredible experience building their confidence and skills. Complete trust in Chris being able to rescue them if ever required. Chris was super encouraging, amazing teacher and great company. They are definitely up for more!
Chris was such a nice guy and took us on a wonderful combined kayaking and paddle boarding trip on the river Teign. He was well organised, very safety conscious without being at all stifling, and brought very welcome hot drinks and snacks. He was helpful on the technique and kept us on the straight and narrow. I had a fantastic experience with Dartmoor adventures , Canoeing and camping for two days along the River Dart from Totnes to Dartmouth and another day paddling on the River Exe. Chris is an excellent coach and guide fun and chatty , patient helpful and knowledgeable. Chris helped to tailor a bespoke experience for my interests in paddling on the River Dart and developing my solo canoe paddling skills ! I would highly recommend and will use Dartmoor adventures again next time I come to Devon!
Organised an exceptional bespoke canoeing trip for the day for 45 kids and adults and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and for a reasonable price. Instructors were clear, kind and professional throughout the experience; accommodating everyone's ability level and giving extra help where needed. The sights were beautiful and there was ample time to explore the river. Overall a brilliant day out and we would highly recommend for any group size.
